Not a single false note or arrangement on this album. Lyrics are still strong even though folk is dimmed out. Some of the arrangements are truly stunning. I hardly ever post reviews but I had to for this one

Been a Flo fan since Lungs and although her style has changed since then, this is still a masterpiece. Definitely my favourite album of 2015, and perhaps my favourite of theirs... (The music videos are also artistically amazing)

The tunes are so catchy and beautiful and cleverly written that I get almost every song stuck in my head! Some of the songs are quiet and hits the nice sense of calm and mystery, some are chaotic and energetic. There is so much variety. Most of the songs today by people like Justin beiber and Taylor swift are made to either top charts with their overused melodies and lovey dovey meanings, or make people feel sorry for their lives, but Florence's music makes you think. Her observations and messages are deep and complex.
  • Appalling, hand waving crap

From pretending to be some freakish fairy on stage, to the endless whingeing screeching that passes for Florence's voice, this is a journey into over rated crap! Why can't there be a zero star rating?

She's still being allowed to wail??? Someone unplug the mic! Florence is back! Unable to hold a note as ever, and even more appealing to the soft-shoes Brighton luvvies.
  • May be an acquired taste

Just bought album of Florence and The Machines. I had heard parts of their random songs past few years but hadn’t listened to them with attention. This evening spent sometime however, and was somewhat disappointed on wasting £10 on album. This particular album is not my cup of tea, may be their other albums are different. Anyway they have a fan following so it’s just my taste then that doesn’t match their style of music - and to be honest Florence Welch’s shrieking voice gave me headache :)
  • How big, how blue, how bloody brilliant
