  • REGGAE TIN

I liked buying the old reggae hits and reggae gold compilations because they had the latest snapshot of newly release reggae. This has too many old stuff some of which I already have and some which I frankly would not listen to. I’ll probably just buy the odd single rather than buy this poor compilation. You need to do better Reggae Gold you’re killing off what used to be a good read mark. Don’t buy.
  • Reggae, really?

I'm not impressed. So many of the songs on this compilation aren't reggae whatsoever, just Jamaican influenced or Jamaican artists, etc. The best songs included, that are actually reggae, are quite old and you'd think most people would have them. Some of them don't even have the correct song titling! For the record, I like a lot of the songs, but they don't really have a place in this album. It really seems as if no effort has gone into this. It's a shoddy effort.

VP seems to open more and more to evolution of Reggae Jamaicain Music ! Having a Major Lazer track as well as Snoop Lion one is therefore a good surprise ! The more traditional dancehall or nu roots songs are all great ! Speacial mention to RDX, Gyptian, Morgan Heritage and Tarrus Riley ! Love these tracks !
