  • Shinedown never cease to amaze

    By Dan Deakins
The Sound of Madness was my first go at listening to Shinedown and I thought nothing could top it, both in terms of musical genius and lyrical power, but boy have they given it a go with Amaryllis. Brent Smith said they recorded 33 songs for the album but only 12 made it onto the final mix. With that information, and after listening to Amaryllis, I cannot wait to here the other 21 tracks! Hurry up Shinedown it's 2014 get another album out!

  • Fantastic...but missing something

I recently bought Sound of Madness and loved every lyric and each sound. I literally went mad over Shinedown. This album tops SoM, but its overpowered at times. I feel that maybe another, light-hearing and emotional song or two, may have made me love this album even more. Overall though, perfection!!
  • Stunning

I doubted they could top Sound of Madness, but they certainly did with this masterpiece. Great live as well.
  • Wonderful

What a wonderful album this is to listen to. Full of energetic songs that are all easy to listen to with a smile on your face. Unity is my song of choice but they are all top notch
  • Amazing!

Started to hear this on Planet Rock, having never really heard of this lot before and it grabbed me straight away. A cracking little number to add your rock collection.
  • My Introduction to Shinedown.

    By IamTheInvisibleMan
Having found Shinedown via the March Musical Madness on MTV, I found they had released Bully as a single and I fell in love with it. Then I bought their new album, Amarllyis, when it came out... And it's amazing. For my first album of Shinedown, it's something that can be listened to over and over again. Most of the songs are good with one or two failing to meet the same grade as the others. Standouts include I'm Not Alright, Amaryllis, Bully (obviously), Enemies and Unity; I know that that's just under half the album but that's how good it is. Buy it now, if you know what's good for you :P
