It started badly, it tailed off a little in the middle and the less said about the end the better, but apart from that it was excellent.
  • If House made music

    By ZMJ123
With his well formed American accent combined with his clear love of blues music, it makes for superb listening. Great stuff.

I've just watched Hugh Laurie on the Graham norton show and what an amazing singer as well as an actor well done to him.
  • Awesome

Hugh Laurie is amazing, I love him so much, and he is a great singer, I'm glad I bought the album :)
  • I've waited 30 years for this album

    By Chandalf The Wise
I first came across Hugh Laurie when he was the musician in the Cambridge Footlights Revue at the Edinburgh Fringe. He was a great pianist then and was the one who stood out as a talent (others in that cast have also gone on to fame and fortune but didn't make an impression that night). So I've waited for 30 years for him to record the album I'm sure he was always capable of making. Fantastic!

A geniune tallent . Could definetly mention him in the same breath as seasick steve , as part of a recent blues revival in the main stream Will be looking out for more
  • Is there anything This chap can't do?

I was prepared for a Steven Segall Bruce Willis moment, but as a musician my self I must say this is not only as brilliant as seasick Steve, and dare I say Muddy Waters, but also the production is suberb. If you buy any single this month make it this, you certainly won't regret it if you love the blues, to Quote Jools Holland "Hugh is what I'd call a quiet genius" I agree. 6 stars ******
  • Hugh is just good

    By Joy Department
Hugh is just good at everything and this is no exception. Really quality blues music and delivered by someone you can really feel means it. Doesn't matter that he's spent most of his life as an actor. He's a musician here.
