This album as some of the most folky and greatest songs ever. The beautiful in my life, Girl, Nowhere man, Norwegian Wood, Drive my car have got to be some of the most amazing songs any artist as ever wrote!

The first album cover by a group that doesn't have the name of the band on it. Why? Because they were The Beatles! Says it all really.

People always say that sgt peppers was the best album ever but I think it's just too over rated. Don't get me wrong I like the album but I don't think it's is as good as this one. Rubber soul changed the direction of the beatles and changed their music also. This album is considered as one of the best but in my point there is no other album better than rubber soul. A CLASSIC!!

Now this is subjective because we're all different…but this is my favourite Beatles album. It just has a vibe from start to finish. And I've been to Durness and seen the memorial too…😄
  • A Beatles album that cannot be compared to another!

I have been a Beatles fan since being 2 years old (honest!) and I'm 35 years old. I've got all their albums on vinyl, thanks to robbing them from my Mother; cheers Mum!!! But now the sound quality is improved its a delight to hear them so clearly. "Rubber Soul" is full of classics: 'Nowhere Man',' 'Girl',' 'In My Life' and 'Run For Your Life' are my top 4. All totally different styles of music and they could even be deemed as "music before its time." Lennon is and always will be my hero, and you can hear in 'Soul' which direction his musical influence was slowly starting to turn, but no one knew how his creativity was going to change.... One of the finest albums ever made. A must for any real music fan.

Rubber Soul is without a doubt the best-recorded Beatles album. Even the band themselves agreed that it was an album that felt like a masterpiece right from the start. Sure Sgt Peppers and Abbey Road may be more innovative than Rubber Soul, but RS is special in that every song is excellent and substantial, nothing is filler, and it's just a very listenable, easygoing experience. Soft rock at its finest. Very timeless - though I don't agree with charging people £10.99 for it just because its The Beatles. I still find it odd that this brilliant album wasn't included on The Beatles' official jigsaw puzzle of their albums...
