I never thought I’d ever buy a Rick Ashley album.
Why does everybody love this!!!!its terrible

He knows how to write a great album!
The bargain bin beckons!
Blind fandom is an expression that springs to to mind!
Has this guy not had his day?
Awful 'Supermarket music' that only appeals to the inherently deaf.
How anyone can consider this 'musicianship' is beyond me, surely it's just another futile attempt at a comeback?
Oh well, soon be in the bargain bin along with the X-factor failures.
Snide? Me? Abso-effing-lutely!
I mean, really, I'd be more interested in vinyl flooring samples!
Comparison to Gary Barlow lol
By Ian - Basingstoke
How can you compare Rick to Gary Barlow? Gary is supremely talented, writes all his own stuff and has a back catalogue any male artist would die for.
Like Rick. 50 was better than this album and Beautiful Life should have done much better but only when Rick has a lengthy career like GB can comparisons be made.
Good luck with the album though
Not as good as ‘50’ :(
I’m a big fan of Rick - have all his 80s albums and played ‘50’ repeatedly when it came out. This album doesn’t have a patch on those ones, sorry! The songs are quite bland and the lyrics are unimaginative this time around, it feels as if there’s an ‘umph’ missing. Where have the fantastic sounds akin to ‘I Like The Sun’ and ‘Pray With Me’ gone? The funky, soulful blues sound that suited Rick’s voice so well have disappeared. This album is quite dull and I doubt I will play it again...it’s almost in Gary Barlow territory...I know you can do better Rick!
Hmmm difficult. Having listened to it once it’s definitely not as immediate as 50 was when I first heard that. About 40% I like straight off but the rest not so much but they could be growers
Rick Ashley beautiful life album
Great album. Nice songs.
It just flows from start to finish. Try...magic.

Some bland and boring songs as expected however there are some decent ones on here as well
