Such a diverse and lyrically connecting album

When did BFMV have the musical range of Machine Head? The drum recording is poor, its just a game of booting out singles. Since The Poison, its got more "refine" and less raw. BFMV were so much more twhen they had a point to prove.

Don’t know what people are moaning about?.. if you want the same sound over and over then just buy one album and listen to it over and over...

Bullet for my Valentines weakest album to date. Uninspired, same dreary formula for every song. The only song I like is Don't Need you and as for the album I will not be needing it lol...
  • I love bullet sooo much but...

I loveee BFMV soooo much like all of the riffs and like screaming and stuff there are like one of my fave bands!!! and love all there past albums, when I heard they were bringing out a new album I was soooo exited so I listened to the couple of songs that were released but I’m just one of those people who like guitar riffs to be kicked in and like heavy vocals and I just extremely miss the old bullet soooo bad... 😔 but I’m sooo happy for Matt as he has gone through sooooo much in his past but I’m glad that he still makes music!!! But it’s a shame as I think it was a shock for most BFMV fans as it’s very different from there past stuff if you love there past stuff like me but my fave song off the album is “don’t need you” as that has a lot of riffs in it and I am really impressed with that song like ahh!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🤘🏻 like I listened to all the songs off this album and I just am a bit sad as I think that there old stuff rocks!! Like I was reading there book and it said that Matts inspiration was actually Metallica and there like riffs etc witch is the bullet I love!! But eh I hope that they might change back again some day as Matt might be doing it to express his feelings more like making it more simple to get his feeling out but if in the future Matt is feeling better in himself he might start kicking it back in again witch I’m hopeful for with the riffs as there such a talented band!!! 🤘🏻🖤 but I would give them higher score as Ioveeeeee themmm!!! But this is just how I felt about this particular album xx 😁🖤
  • Why go in this direction?

Don’t know where to start! So many question marks over this really uninspiring mess. Firstly as many have said it’s no where near heavy enough, apparently Matt wanted it to be simple. Honestly why??? To sound like 100 other bands! The only listenable song is Don’t Need You, which has at least some heavy enough sections and decent melodies. Why recruit Jason who’s a monster on the drums especially with his Axewound work and have his drums sound terrible. And then to recruit Jamie who has an insane voice from his time with Revoker. This was the first chance of hearing him do backing on an album, but he’s hardly used??? And poor Padge, brilliant guitarist and not a solo is sight. At least the album Venom had some ripping solos. To add the mix is absolutely shocking, as said the drums sound awful and tinny. Matt’s voice is very whiney and lyrically meh! Real let down, compare this to something like Tremonti’s new album, A Dying Machine, which is an absolute master piece. The difference in quality is astonishing. Levels above this latest release from Bullet. All round very disappointing, could have done so much better.

This is different, it’s fresh, and it’s a new BFMV. Moving with the times. Superb album.
  • Its still decent music for their 6th album.

Not what i expected, but i still think its a good listen. Even if it doesnt feel like bullet. Even the big bands only have 1 or 2 good albums, bullet have 4 great albums, they will change it up and try new things its inevitable. Personally i would like to see the heavier side of them with jason and Jamie involved. They are still a great band to watch, and still have great music, they can only play 16-18 songs live max. And they will still play the great ones. Don't panic!
